The technique

You allow small, controlled release.


Try this

Choose one:

  1. Cry for a few minutes

  2. Write freely for 5 minutes, then stop

  3. Squeeze a pillow or stress ball

  4. Use movement to release tension

Stop when intensity decreases.


Important note

Release should relieve, not escalate.
If it intensifies distress, switch to grounding.
